Lava launches Z60, Z70, Z80 and Z90 in India with Money Back offer
Local smartphone manufacturer Lava is yet again expanding its product portfolio. The company has launched four new smartphones in its Z-series.The newLava handsets include Z60, Z70, Z80, and Z90. With prices ranging between Rs. 5,500 and Rs. 10,750, the Z-series devices focus on providing high-end camera features like dual-Bokeh mode. All four of these smartphones will be available for purchase through retail stores and major e-commerce portals.
"The new Z-series smartphones are the success story of our robust in-house research and development over the last 8 years. With these smartphones, we have been able to pack premium features with product reliability," said Gaurav Nigam, Product Head, LAVA International, in a statement.
Apart from attractive pricing, the company is also offering a "Money Back Challenge" which has started from October 1. It will go on until December 31. Under this scheme, customers can get 90 percent money back or they can also return the product if they don't like it after using it for 30 days. The phone can be returned at any Lava service center and the customer will get refund on-the-spot.
Let's get into what the smartphones have to offer.
Lava Z60
Lava Z60 is the affordable smartphone among the four devices. The handset comes with a 5-inch FWVGA display with 2,5D curved glass on top. It is powered by a 1.1GHz quad-core chipset which is coupled with 1GB of RAM. Z60 offers 16GB of internal storage.
As for the cameras, the device sports 5MP cameras both on the front and the rear. Both the cameras also support Bokeh Mode that blur out the background. The smartphone runs on Lava's Star OS 4.1 which is based on Android 7.1 Nougat. The smartphone is backed by a 2500mAh battery.
Lava Z60 is priced at Rs. 5,500.
Lava Z70
This smartphone comes with a 5-inch HD display with 2.5D curved glass as well. Lava Z70 is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737 processor which is paired with 2GB of RAM. The handset offers 16GB of internal storage.
Further, Lava Z70 sports 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front-facing snapper both of which are accompanied by a LED flash. The device runs on Android Nougat with Star OS 4.1 skin on top. The smartphone is backed by a 2500mAh battery and has a fingerprint scanner at the rear.
Lava Z70 is priced at Rs. 8,000.
Lava Z80
The third smartphone in the list Lava Z80 comes with 5-inch HD display with 2.5D curved glass as well. It is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737 processor that's paired with 3GB RAM. The handset offers 16GB of internal storage which is further expandable up to 128GB via microSD card.
Like the Z70, there's an 8MP camera at the back and a 5MP camera on the front. Both cameras have Bokeh mode. The smartphone is backed by a 2500mAh battery and it runs Star OS 4.1 based on Android 7.0 Nougat. This model also gets a fingerprint scanner.
Lava Z80 is priced at Rs. 9,000.
Lava Z90
And finally the more premium device among the lot, Lava Z90 comes with 5.2-inch HD IPS display. The device is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor which is coupled with 3GB of RAM. It offers 32GB of internal storage. Lava Z90 runs on Android Nougat and comes with a slightly bigger 2750mAh battery than the others.
The handset is equipped with an 8MP camera on the front, but at the back, the smartphone features a dual camera setup which comprises of 8 MP + 2 MP cameras. So this device will also let users take photos with Bokeh effect. It also comes with a fingerprint scanner at the rear. All these four smartphones support 4G VoLTE and two SIM cards.
Lava Z90 is priced at Rs. 10,750.
